Vitapep snack peppers aren’t just delicious, they are also a very lovely product to boot and it’s easy to make a stunning amuse-bouche with them in no time at all.

 

Stuffed preserved Vitapep mini sweet peppers wrapped in bacon 

Ingredients:

  • approx. 15 preserved Vitapep sweet peppers
  • for the filling:
  • 200 g soft goat's cheese
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • for wrapping:
  • 1 slice of bacon per Vitapep sweet pepper

Getting started:

Drain the Vitapep sweet peppers and drain further on a piece of kitchen towel.
To make the filling, mix the goat's cheese with the maple syrup until blended. Spoon the cheese mixture into a piping bag and store in the refrigerator if not using it immediately.

Preparation:
Wrap a slice of bacon around each Vitapep sweet pepper and fry in a frying pan without any oil or butter on medium heat until the bacon is crispy.
Allow the Vitapeps to cool a little before filling with the goat's cheese.
Serve immediately. These are best served warm.

Tip:
The Vitapep sweet peppers can also be filled and wrapped beforehand. Simply store them in the refrigerator until needed and fry them immediately after taking them out.
